Reported Content, Preservation and Law-Enforcement Requests
Last updated: October 2026
1. Reporting of Content
The Blue Feet provides functionality through which users may report files or other content submitted through the platform that they believe may be unlawful, harmful, inappropriate or otherwise in breach of the Terms of Service.
A report does not itself establish that the reported content is unlawful or that the person who submitted it has committed an offence.
The Blue Feet may review reported content and may restrict, remove, disable access to or otherwise take action in relation to reported content where it considers this appropriate, including where required by applicable law or by a competent authority.
2. Restricted Review
Reported files may be transferred or retained in a restricted review area for the purposes of investigation, moderation, security, legal compliance and, where appropriate, reporting to competent authorities.
Access to reported content will be limited to authorised The Blue Feet personnel who require access for these purposes.
The Blue Feet will take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect reported content and associated personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction.
3. Potentially Unlawful or Criminal Content
Where The Blue Feet reasonably believes that reported content may constitute a criminal offence or otherwise require notification to a competent authority, The Blue Feet may report the matter to the relevant law-enforcement, regulatory or other competent authority.
The appropriate authority and reporting channel may depend on the nature, seriousness and location of the suspected conduct.
For matters arising in or connected with the United Arab Emirates, The Blue Feet may use applicable official reporting channels, including the Ministry of Interior's electronic crime-reporting channels, the relevant emirate's police or cybercrime reporting service, the Federal Public Prosecution's applicable reporting channels, or other competent authorities as appropriate.
Where there is an immediate threat to life, physical safety or other serious harm, The Blue Feet may contact the police or emergency services without delay.
4. Child-Related Content
Where reported content reasonably appears to involve child sexual exploitation, child pornography material, or other harmful content affecting a child, The Blue Feet will treat the matter as a priority safeguarding and legal matter.
Where applicable UAE law requires reporting by The Blue Feet, the matter will be reported to the relevant competent or concerned authorities without delay and in accordance with the applicable reporting requirements.
The Blue Feet may also provide the authorities with relevant information and data reasonably required for investigation, subject to applicable law.
The Blue Feet will not knowingly reproduce, distribute or unnecessarily disclose such material during the review process.
5. Preservation of Evidence
Where reported content may be relevant to a legal claim, investigation, criminal proceeding, regulatory matter or law-enforcement request, The Blue Feet may preserve the relevant content and associated records notwithstanding its removal or restriction from the platform.
Preserved information may include, where available and lawful to retain:
- the reported file;
- the date and time of upload;
- the relevant case or account identifier;
- the identity or account information associated with the uploader;
- relevant access, report and moderation records;
- the identity of the person who submitted the report;
- relevant technical metadata; and
- records of actions taken by The Blue Feet in response to the report.
Unless a longer period is required by applicable law, a valid authority request, a legal hold or another legitimate legal purpose, reported content and associated records will normally be retained for a limited period following removal and then securely deleted in accordance with The Blue Feet's retention policy.
Where a legal hold applies, the relevant information will be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the applicable legal, investigative or regulatory purpose.
6. Disclosure to Authorities
The Blue Feet may disclose reported content, personal data and associated records to law-enforcement, regulatory, judicial or other competent authorities where:
- required by applicable law;
- required pursuant to a valid legal process, order or request;
- necessary to comply with a lawful request from a competent authority;
- necessary to protect the rights, safety or security of The Blue Feet, its users or another person; or
- otherwise permitted by applicable law.
The Blue Feet will limit disclosures to information reasonably relevant to the applicable purpose where required by law.
7. Notification of Users
The Blue Feet may notify the relevant workshop, customer, uploader or other affected user that content has been reported, restricted or removed where appropriate.
However, The Blue Feet may delay, limit or withhold such notification where it reasonably considers that notification could:
- prejudice an investigation or legal proceeding;
- alert a suspected offender;
- result in the destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence;
- place a person at risk;
- interfere with the lawful work of an authority; or
- be prohibited by applicable law or by a lawful direction from an authority.
8. Overseas Users and Content
Where a workshop, customer, uploader, affected individual or relevant content is located outside the United Arab Emirates, additional laws or regulatory requirements may apply.
The Blue Feet may therefore take additional steps, including reporting or disclosure to authorities in another jurisdiction, where required or permitted by applicable law or pursuant to a valid request from a competent authority.
The Blue Feet does not undertake to determine or report every matter under the laws of every jurisdiction in which its services may be accessed. Customers and users remain responsible for complying with applicable laws governing their own activities and use of the service.
9. No Obligation to Investigate All Reports
The Blue Feet does not undertake to investigate every report or to determine conclusively whether reported content constitutes an offence or other unlawful activity.
The Blue Feet may use reasonable risk-based criteria when determining whether content should be removed, restricted, preserved, escalated internally or reported to an authority.
Nothing in this section limits The Blue Feet's obligation to comply with applicable mandatory reporting requirements.
10. Cooperation with Authorities
The Blue Feet may cooperate with competent authorities and respond to lawful requests for information, preservation or disclosure relating to the platform, its users, uploaded content or activity conducted through the service.
Where legally permitted, The Blue Feet may maintain an internal record of such requests and the action taken in response.
